Congratulations to the PNLL Senior All Stars who won the D57 Championship Friday night against Canyon Creek to bring home the Championship Banner to Pleasanton. They won the game by a score of 10-4. The game featured outstanding pitching, defense and offense by all the players. The game was close early going back and forth until the game was tied at 4-4 at the end of regulation.
The in the top of the 7th PNLL went on a hitting and scoring streak and scored 6 runs to go up 10-4. They then held off Canyon Creek in the bottom of the 8th for the win. This is the first senior title won by PNLL in a very long time and I want to congratulate Jon Ferrel and Rick Crawford for all their efforts in managing the team and bringing the title back to Pleasanton.
