I would like to congratulate the PNLL Minor AAA Giants on a fantastic win tonight in the championship game of the D57 2004 Minor TOC’s. They beat the Dublin Giants by a score of 7-6, with a solid performance on both offense and defense by the whole team. The Giants were up 5-0 early and then Dublin tied the game at 5-5 in the bottom of the fourth. Then Dublin scored one run in the bottom of the fifth to go ahead 6-5. The Giants came charging back in the top of the sixth to score two runs and go ahead by a score of 7-6. They came out in the bottom of the sixth and went 1-2-3 to end the game and win the championship. It was one of the best games of the tournament according to D57 representatives who were at the game.
