An email from Kevin Wrenn, PNLL President

I would like to congratulate the PNLL Minor AAA Giants on a fantastic win today in the semifinal round of the D57 2004 Minor TOC’s. They beat Tassahara National Reds by a score of 3-2, with a solid performance on both offense and defense by the whole team. The Giants were up 1-0 early and then down 2-1 until the 5th when they tied it up at 2-2. They went ahead 3-2 in the top of the 7th and held the Reds in the bottom of the 7th for the win. It was one of the best games of the tournament according to D57 representatives who were at the game. This is the first time in a very long time that a PNLL team has made it to the final round of the TOC tournament and I'm very excited for the Giant players, families and coaches. I hope all of you will come out tomorrow night and watch the Giants. I want to thank all those PNLL fans who were in Dublin today to cheer on the Giants. The championship game for the Giants is tomorrow (Tuesday) at 5:30pm in Dublin Field #4 against the Dublin Giants (Directions). Please make it a priority to come by and continue to cheer our PNLL Minor AAA Giants on to victory. The team really appreciates all the support from the league. This is a very important event for PNLL and I want to personally ask everyone to come and share this great experience to watch one of our own compete for the D57 minor championship.
