Majors (Submitted by Todd M. Sleek) The first place Cardinals and the second place Dodgers squared off for another nail bitter in the Pleasanton National Tournament of Champions final match. The game again being decided by 1 run. Patrick Phillips of the Dodgers had another outstanding effort against the Cards, holding the Cards to 4 hits and 1 run. In the bottom half of the 6th inning the Cards scored the winning run, when Robert Lipman got on after being hit with 1 out in the inning.
